Maritime Transport — Photography of Ships, Vessels, and Port Infrastructure
This section features photographs of maritime and river transport, vessels for various purposes, and port infrastructure facilities. The archive contains shots of cargo ships, dry cargo vessels, container ships, tankers, as well as the icebreaker fleet providing ship escort and navigation in Arctic waters along the Northern Sea Route. A significant portion of the collection is dedicated to capturing large-scale seaports, shipyards, ship repair yards, berths, dry docks, and loading and unloading operations. Aerial photography objectively conveys the dimensions of marine vessels, complex ice conditions, as well as the logistics of ship movement in roadsteads, straits, and the open sea. High-resolution photographs capture in detail the design features of hulls, the operation of deck equipment, and the overall infrastructure of water transport arteries.
